About Chelfie 2 - Migrante
This album began to take shape in mid-2019. At that time Rafael Delgado and Mariano
Agustín Fernández were addressing Latin American music, exploring sounds, testing
arrangements, always with the cello as the main actor, but integrating a collective space.
And then… the pandemic arrived. Although at a slower pace, production work continued. At
that time, it was possible to have support from Culture of the City of Buenos Aires, which
made it possible to pay part of the costs of production and recording in the studio, leaving
some details pending, as we will tell you shortly.

El nuevo disco
On this album we paly songs by Carlos Aguirre, Rafael Delgado, Hugo Fattoruso, Guido
Martínez, Henry Martínez, Elizabeth Morris, Silvio Rodríguez and Caitro Soto. Music from
Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. Music that, without resorting
to words, tells us about our roots and identities, the borders that have been imposed on
us, the nostalgia that always comes back, the languages and dialects that we should have
learned, the flavors that surprised us, the music that we share and, after all, the cultural
riches that we were discovering in this transit.

The crowdfunding campaign
With this campaign we will be able to carry out the final part of the production of the record
(mixing and mastering), the visual identity and the manufacture of a small edition of vinyl
records. That is why we resort to the collaboration of all of you.

Contributions can be made by direct deposit, bank transfer (national and international) and
digital apps, depending on the country you are in.

Rewards
Each collaboration will have different rewards, as forms of thanks to those who participate in
this self-managed community.
These rewards include: sending songs in mp3, cello classes (face-to-face in Buenos Aires or
synchronously at a distance), sending the autographed vinyl album of Chelfie 2 – Migrante by national and international mail, as well as the CD Chelfie 1 – Territorios, and the mention
as a collaborator or producer of Chelfie 2 – Migrante.
Shipments in digital format will be made from September 24. The physical vinyl and CD albums
will be mailed from late 2023/early 2024 (due to vinyl manufacturing time).
Collaborations will be received by: Bank transfer (national and international), PayPal and
MercadoPago, according to the country in which you are.
Attention! The deadline to be mentioned as a Collaborator or Producer in the
credits of the physical vinyl album is August 24.
